U-Dogs hikes are a benchmark for all who work in the business. We pride ourselves on our value and reliability. We offer 1.5 hour hikes for all breeds and do up to two hikes per day depending on demands. Our hikes are planned and researched for wildlife presence, alternate routes, water sources and scenery with few distractions and even fewer people.
We know it takes more than a trip around the block to relieve enough bodily materials and more than an hour to even have an effect on their energy levels. There are many companies who offer 'walks' and 'daycare' and we think that every customer and business has there needs and offerings. We've been in the business for years and worked with hundreds of dogs; What works for people and what works for dogs is rarely a close match.

We hike in regions from Qualicum to Cowichan, paying close attention to topography, water sources, human traffic and wildlife. We pride ourselves on a clean recovery record and getting all dogs home safe and sound. There are risks involved with walking dogs off leash and we do our best to reduce them. Communicating as much information to us as possible while we assess your dog, working with us to develop their communication skills is of the utmost importance. We always encourage people to make the time to see what we do and take a hike with the group. We also offer special rates for a walk along and do offer clinics for those of interest and professionals alike.

How it Works
When starting with U-Dog, we like to conduct a review with you and your dog. It is preferred to conduct this with other dogs present at our Worx Yard behind Cyber City by appointment. Give us a call and we will gladly set something up that suits us both. We can also meet elsewhere and determine your dog social and physical levels, then determine when we will get started with the hiking program. For the first few hikes, it is easiest to have your dog dropped off early to play and mingle prior to getting in the vehicle.
We offer pick up and drop off services for seasoned dogs and can determine if that is possible upon our first meeting.
